Vintage 40's Dress handmade Documented

Fabulous dress from the 1940's with an attached tag that reads "Last house dress made by my Mother 1940"

The dress has a scoop neckline with large white plastic buttons going down the front met by a detachable belt at the waistline that has a matching plastic buckle. The skirt is a-line with no pleating. The 3/4 sleeve arms are full and fitted at the forearms, with gathering of the fabric right above the forearms. The cotton is lightweight, smooth and soft. The dress and fabric are in wonderful condition with no flaws. The floral print is in iris, lavender and golden wheat yellow against a white background.

This dress is a wonderful piece of our history.
