If you remember this great toy then you're in for a real treat here with this Fisher Price Vintage Pull- A-Tune 1964 #874 with original mallet and string This classic is one of Fisher Price's most well known and beloved toys, Made in 1964 It has a wood base with metal xylophone bars. When you pull it, it plays or you can use a drum tom to play the metal bars. A classic! Fisher Price Pull-A-Tune will delight any child. When pulled, the toy makes musical tones as it moves along. At rest, it can be used to play tunes with the original striker/mallet. It has 8 tones which can be used to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Jingle bells, Do-A Deer and other childrens tunes. There is some normal wear for a toy that has been played with, The side stickers are in good shape for a toy that's almost 50 years old!! It still plays a tune when it rolls AND as was mentioned above, it has the original mallet and pull string (which most seem to be missing). The mallet does however look as though it was chewed on kinda like a lollipop. Kids!! LOL This xylophone is 13 3/4" long, tapers from 4 1/4" to 3 3/8" and is 2" high VERY nice condition for a toy that's nearly 50 years old!
