Lovely 50's style genuine python/snakeskin hand crafted artisans handbag convertible to shoulder bag.
Created with a hard case body in a trapezoid shape, the purse closes with a front flap sliding under a barrette. Genuine python front, back and bottom, genuine leather sides, lining and lining. Excellent workmanship, the purse has hand braided edges made from thin strips of leather. Sliding adjustable shoulder/hand straps. The interior opens to a one large compartment with an additional side compartment suitable for a cell phone or glasses (the compartment is longer rather than wider). Lovely feminine style, with that mix of city elegance and artisan craftsmanship. Just adorable and in perfect vintage condition.
No name, purchased in the Orient in one of my trips in the 80's
COLOR: a mix of caramel and golden natural python colour, with dark dark brown. Also, an interesting interplay of small scale flap with a larger scaled body (I am referring to the scales on the skin) Natural leather color sides, interior and straps.
MATERIAL: genuine Python snakeskin.
SIZE: 9" by 8.5" by 4" deep. Adjustable strap approximately Fromm 10 to 20" drop.
CONDITION: The purse has been gently worn (once or twice) and lovingly cared for. It is in perfect vintage condition, with NO damage to the skin, NO splits and cracks, NO soiling. Minimal signs of previous "purse life". Small (hair thin) pencil lines on the inner flap, will not be seen when worn and I assume it can be specialty cleaned if needed. Immaculate interior. You will love this little luxury genuine Python purse!

I ship Canada Post, usually AIR MAIL. Other shipping methods also available but not preferred...usually more expensive and subject to too much delay in the US customs.

I ONLY ship insured and to a physical person, NO SHIPPING to corporate addresses, third parties (unless it is a surprise gift) or no name destinations. Make sure your address is correct to save both of us time and frustration.

Shipping to PO BOXES at the Buyer's risk. I decline responsibility if items shipped to PO boxes do not reach the Buyer.

THE ITEMS ARE SHIPPED FROM CANADA and promptly! Please allow reasonable TRANSIT TIME to reach your destination, keeping in mind that nobody is in control of customs delays or your local delivery! I appreciate your patience as delays in customs are inevitable.

PICK UP the item from your local post office if it has not been delivered to your door. It is YOUR responsibility. If item is returned because it has not been picked up within the 2 weeks of its arrival, it is your responsibility to pay for the second shipping cost.

Insured ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT will be fully reimbursed ONLY upon reimbursment from the carrier company, NOT BEFORE. I will gladly take immediate steps to report the damage or loss and offer my full support throughout the process.

NOTE! The carrier company ONLY opens lost item investigations after 45 days from the shipping date AND carriers require proof of damage or loss before processing refund. Your private phone number is required by carriers conducting the "lost item" investigation. The reimbursement of insurance for a lost item is a process, requires anytime between 7-30 days depending on the cooperation of your local post office. Once the insurance is paid, I will reimburse the Buyer through Paypal. If the item is reported as "delivered" by your local post office, further requests for refund will be denied...obviously!

If the payment is received Friday or during the weekend, the item will only leave the next business day, Monday. I AM KNOWN AND APPRECIATED by customers FOR IMMEDIATE, SAFE SHIPPING.
