Vintage Black Crochet Purse with Multicolor Wooden Beads & Drawstring Closure Boho Bag

This is an unusual purse that was hand-crocheted in black with gold, green, blue and yellow metallic thread circa late 1940's

  •  metallic band at the top as well as at the bottom
  •  metallic bands have rows of individually-hand sewn multicolored wooden beads
  •  black drawstring serves as the bag's carrying straps
  •  straps each end in a tassle
  •  bag is unlined
  •  no internal or external pockets
  •  no maker's mark or country of origin

  • 14" tall not including straps
  • 8 1/2"wide at bottom
  • 2" band at top; 2 1/4" band at bottom
  • strap drop  when closed 10"


Condition: This has no damage that I can see.  There are a few pokey threads but no tears, stains or loose/missing beads.  The inside of the bag is clean.
