This is a unique embossed brass melon shaped box or pocketbook. It has two long chains and a blue fabric lining. The lining is a stiffened material that is showing age. It can be removed. There is a hole in the top of the fabric.

The brass is in excellent shape with two slightly different finishes on the segments. The box is about 6 inches tall (including the stem) and 5 inches in diameter.
