This is a stunning and rare designer signed Art Deco or Art Nouveau brass pendant necklace with glass accents. It is signed on the back F.N. Co. The mark F.N. Co was used from 1911 to 1937. The company was based in New York City and was best known for the Art Deco style necklaces, pins and earrings. The pendant is approximately 3 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The chain is approximately 22 inches from end to end with a box style clasp. The chain is attached to a vertical triangular brass ornamental piece with glass cabochons. There are two mint green glass beads that connect the pendant to the chain. Below that are three glass cabochons, which I believe are Dragon's Breath. There is a great flashing of blue and purple with an almost rose color and green. They change color so rapidly in different light. The stones are open backed and unfoiled. Below the three glass pieces are two ornate fish or sea creatures. At the bottom is an oval mottled green glass cabochon.

This is in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures and would make a fantastic addition to your collection of Art Deco jewelry. There is a ring underneath one fish that is open in one spot, it looks like a tiny section may have broken off. I didn't see it until I was looking at the photos after I listed it. There may have been something hanging from the rings once upon a time but was removed because of the break of the ring. The ring can probably be closed, (see picture of back of pendant for better view), but I was afraid I might break it if I tried.This is truly a rare find, Fishel and Nessler jewelry is quite collectible and this is an outstanding piece. I have not polished this, it has a lovely old patina to it that only comes with age. It has a box style clasp that looks like a barrel clasp that works just fine.
