An incredible, beautiful face powder compact for I. Magnin, made in France. Made of gold tone metal and covered in black silk with a silk fan in peach with heavy beading and sequins. There is no makers name other than what is imprinted on the removable screen which is I. Magnin, France. This is indeed one of the sweetest little compacts that I have come across in a very long time.

There is little or no powder left, which in my opinion is just as well since pale powder and black silk do not go well together. Surprisingly there are no holes, tears or wear spots. The over all condition of this is very, very good. The silk could use a light cleaning, I heard that lighter fluid cleans silk but I am not about to do that - you can!
