This is a very old and lovely single strand necklace made up of tiny art glass beads in a combination of brightly colored greens, blues, reds, whites and tans. The tiny opaque and clear glass beads are capped with even tinier seed beads. The beads are are in wired on clusters that dangle off the side. Some of the clusters are in twos and others in threes (I don't know if beads were missing or if they were made that way). There are hundreds and hundreds of beads so if any are missing you don't notice. There is no clasp, you can see where the wire is tied off if you search for it. The necklace slips easily over the head. This necklace was put together by hand, each bead was put on one at a time. I believe this is from the 1930s and is most likely Czech or Venetian Glass.

It hangs down 18 inches, if it could be opened it would measure approximately 36 inches in total length. It will not go over the head to double up the strands.

The necklace is in very good vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It can be worn “Flapper” style with dressy or casual outfits. The perfect accessory.
