This is a vintage portable Hansen burner military field stainless steel sterilizer set which may be from WWI. On the bottom it says " U.S.A. M.D. PIONEER NEW YORK, NY". The set is completely enclosed, with a removable metal bottle with a wick which I believe burns kerosene. The lid screws in tight and is attached to the bottle by a small metal chain of the same material. The bottle sits underneath the sterilizing tub. The set is closed shut by snapping the lid. This is a really unique item. It has scratches on the outside but the wick is new and everything appears to work correctly.
