This is a very pretty  Mexican BATEA MEXICO Folk Art tray measuring approximately 13 1/4" long, 9 1/4" wide and 1 1/2" high. This light pine colored bowl has a cut out handle on each side. It is highly detailed, decorated with a black circle center oulined in gold, with a blue and red folk art design.  There are black lines and scrolls, probably done by pen, decorating between the folk art pattern on each side of the center motif. There a gold gold gild edge. Colors are red, dark blue, orange and green with wisks of highlighting on the tips. Colors are vibrant with no missing paint, cracks or splits.  Thanks for looking!
