Signed Polcini c, this double leaf clear rhinestone brooch is 2" x 1 3/8" and in very good condition. Ralph Policini only created high quality costume jewelry since the early 1900's and this 1950s piece is no exception. His excellent metalwork and top of the line stones make his pieces highly collectible. They are also very scarce on the market. There is no wear to the plating on this piece and no dead rhinestones. They are not as brilliant as they once were but they are uniform in their color; cleaning could help them sparkle again. A delicate addition to a simple dinner dress.
