Vintage Sewing Buttons.

These retro translucent green buttons are knobby and are characteristic of a flower. They measure three quarter inches in diameter.

These were made in West Germany by BGE, which when spelled out is Bailey, Green & Elger.

The exact age is unkown but they were originally priced as .90 cents and marked down in red pen ink to .45 cents.

The first photo that you see was taken with a camera. The second photo was taken with a scanner. Same goes for the close up in the third and fourth photos. As you can see, the color varies slightly among the two.
