Vintage Sheffield Silver Co Cut Glass and Sterling Silver Bud Vase

This vintage cut glass vase with a sterling silver base was made by the Sheffield Silver Company of Brooklyn New York.  I'm unable to specifically date it, as Sheffield used the same marks throughout their active years.  The company was in business from 1919 - 1974.

The vase is approximately 8.5 inches tall, and is 3 inches wide.  There are a couple of small, light scratches in the glass, but no chips, cracks or breaks.  The base has the Sheffield marks, and says "Sterling Weighted 626".  The base has a light patina to it.  I haven't attempted to polish it but will leave that to its new owner.

Sheffield was known for their silverplate and holloware, and rarely produced sterling items.
