Beautiful hat made with a multitude of feathers, including pheasant, in reds, brown, forest green, black and white, red netting and a red velvet bow on the back.
The inside has two combs for attaching to the head.
It is lined with faille and has a grosgrain ribbon around the edge.
The milliner also added a small feather to the netting, as a special touch.
About 8 X 7 inches
It has the original label and also a label, Chanda.
Ethel Atkins was a well-known milliner in Boston.
I am listing a hat box and other hats by her.
These were purchased when the shop was closed.

CONDITION- Our scanner makes colors a little lighter and adds streaks, especially on old paper. We have lightly tinted windows, which may alter the colors slightly when we use a camera. Vintage items will show some age, and we will try to note any and all defects. An item described, as "excellent", can be perfect or have minor flaws, from age, and that I feel any collector would be glad to have. If you have any question on condition, please ask.
