Vintage travel shield charm, Schleswig, Germany

Vintage travel shield charms have become highly appreciated as miniature pieces of art. They have therefore become rather popular as collectors items.
A collection of vintage travel shield charms can be very interesting. Every little charm might even inspire you to look up the place and digg a little bit deeper… “Where on Earth is this? Which kind of people lives there? Has this place anything else to offer?” a.s.o. – And the very best for many people with the collectors gene is that even larger collections are very easy to handle and don’t take up much space.

This particular charm from Schleswig, Germany, is in a very good condition excactly as when I bought it myself in 1963.
I have kept it in my jewelry box and never worn the charm but as silver is rather soft,
some tiny scratches are inevitable on the backside because more charms were kept in the same box.
The enamel front side is absolutely perfect - no scratches nor other damages there.

Details: 800 Silver with enamel marked ANTICO. Original oval jump ring for easy mounting included.

The weight is approx. 3.5 grams.
