This a sweet little mid century ceramic winking Santa mug. The maker is unknown and the bottom has an impressed Japan marking.

This motif was very popular during that era and many manufacturers and importers sold ceramic items with the winking Santa Claus design.

This cup stands 3" high and is 4" wide including the handle.

It is in good used condition without any chips. There is mild paint loss on Santa's left cheek. There is a fine hairline on the side opposite the handle. For this reason, I would not use it for holding liquids. Instead, I can see this being used as a cute pencil holder on your office desk or perhaps as a holder for for your holiday candy canes. Let your imagination decide.
