This is an original letter sent home to his wife by a U. S. Army Sergeant during WWII which included the center on a German Nazi flag that he and a friend stole when liberating a French village. The letter does not include the envelope. It was purchased at a New Hampshire estate sale a few years back of the widow. The flag center is original, not a reproduction; it's about 18" diameter and feels like silk. This is an authentic WWII military collectible. Shipping weight and size: 8 ounces in a 4x8x2 box.
