Dark blue wool with embroidered eagle and what I guess is a propeller.  The stripes are wool/felt? and attached to blue wool with a narrow red thread overcast by machine.  Measures approx. 4 x 6".  You can see 1940 stitched on back.  I received a FYI note that stated this was a First Class Machinist Mate Petty Officers Rating badge.  Moths have feasted on it a bit, but otherwise in great condition.  Have a great day and thanks for previewing my offering.
