This is a framed and double matted print of Dolphin Rides. It is signed in the plate by both Jim Warren and Wyland and is dated 1992.
According to artist Wyland, "As a kid, the ultimate thrill would be to ride a dolphin." Wyland and Jim Warren came up with this painting depicting "the joy of children with a group of friendly dolphins. Below the water the dolphins ignore their favorite food, yellow fin tuna, to spend quality time with the kids."
Size and Description
The print itself measures 5.875 inches wide by 9.125 inches high in the mat. Print is matted & framed under glass. Double mat has a large white border surrounding a thin border of blueish green. The frame is made of a light color wood and has an outside measurement of 12 inches wide by 15 inches high by .75 inches deep from front to back.
Back of print is covered in brown kraft paper and has a picture hanger mounted in the center of the top edge of the frame.
This estate item is in very good condition. Neither print nor mat appear to be sunned; white colors are quite bright. Glass is clean and free of deep scratches. The frame does have a small imperfections that are not very noticeable. Kraft paper on back does have a rip, as shown in our last photo.
