This keyboard has a great number of keys. When my grandparents gave it to me for Christmas a couple years ago, they repeatedly emphasized how expensive it had been (this proves that they love me very much). As you're considering this purchase, you might want to ask yourself whether you're the type of person who can handle a keyboard with this much class? If Ray Charles sat down and played it, the sound would be incredible. It would rumble and hum, delivering masterpieces that have been heard by millions. At least, it would do these things after you found the AC adapter for it. I'm not sure exactly where it is at the moment, according to the back of the unit, it requires a DC 10-12 positive polarity plug. If Radio Shack is still in business by the time you buy this keyboard, they'd have the adapter. Otherwise Target or someone. There's also a 50/50 chance I will stumble across the adapter when I have the time to root around for it. But the price of this keyboard accounts for the possibility that you'll need to supply the adapter. Here's what Yamaha has to say about this piece:
