all original, including cast iron coat hooks and hat shelf on the interior. A horizontal bar, and two front-to-back bars were added in the 1st half of the 20th century, to adapt to modern use. Utility potential is outstanding. The piece is deep enough to easily acommodate modern coat hangers, and sturdy enough for an entire wardrobe of clothing, outerwear, and accessories.
