Now you can be stealthy as you fish. Keep the fishing pole in one hand and use this hand paddle in the other. When a fish bites you can let go of the paddle handle and the nylon tether lets it hang on your wrist with out being in the way.

So you love to kayak fish. One advantage to the hand paddle is to maintain boat position while fishing an area for bass or whatever you enjoy. The wind will try to change your angle as you drift. One or two strokes of the paddle and your ready for the next cast keeping the boat in position. I went through a couple of trial models, but they were cumbersome and heavy. This paddle weighs about 11 ozs. and is easy to use.

 

Keep your regular paddle strapped to the kayak and leave your hands free to fish, take pictures or sneak up on fish or other wild life. Waving a big paddle won't allow you to do that. Short strokes from this hand paddle keeps your body activity to a minimum so you don't draw much attention. And of course you're way quieter than a gas or electric motor.

 

Constructed entirely of wood, the unit is 16.5" long and 5.5" wide. The length of the paddle goes through the entire handle. Sealed with 2 coats of varnish, the paddle is very waterproof and will last for many years.

Maybe you've tried paddle gloves but they are designed for a special purpose and don't work well for fishing or photography. This paddle does it all. There are other manufacturers available. You can't beat this price. I make sell these on other sites on the Web.
