An ash wood slat and bottom framed basket with the original canvas adjustable backpackers shoulder straps from the 1940s. This fishing or hiking basket is in pristine shape. Has the pot bellied front and wood framed bottom resting skids. The top bands are brass tacked. Weighs a bit under 3 pounds. measures 18T x 14L x 12W inches. Slats are .5 inch horizontally and 1 inch vertically. Not many around in this shape.
