How do I accept purchases via Checkout by Amazon on Bonanza?

Checkout by Amazon allows buyers to purchase your items using their Amazon accounts. Buyers can use the shipping addresses and payment methods they have stored with Amazon.

Here's how to setup Checkout by Amazon to work with Bonanza:

  1. Sign up for a Checkout by Amazon account. Checkout by Amazon accounts are different than normal Amazon accounts - you can use an existing Amazon account to sign up for Checkout by Amazon, or you may create a new Amazon account to use with Bonanza. You can sign up through this button:

    Cba_signup.

Complete Amazon's signup forms to register your Checkout by Amazon account.

  2. After you complete Amazon's registration process, log in to Amazon Seller Central and click on the Checkout Pipeline Settings link on the SETTINGS tab of Amazon Seller Central.

  5. Click the Save all of my changes button toward the bottom of the page.
  6. Click the Add or edit items link, then click Update Booth (or Activate Booth button, if you haven't yet activated your booth) near the upper right hand area of your screen.
  7. You will now be prompted for your Checkout by Amazon Merchant ID, Access Key ID, and Secret Access Key. Cba_seller_settings_small

  8. To find your Checkout by Amazon Access Key ID and Secret Access Key, click the Access Key
link on the INTEGRATION tab of Amazon Seller Central, as shown below: Cba_seller_central_1_small

If you have just created your Amazon seller account and you do not see your access keys on this page, you may need to wait for up to 24 hours before your keys to show up. You may also use the MWS Access Key link on the INTEGRATION tab to sign up for an Amazon Marketplace Web Service account, which will give you an additional set of keys. It is not necessary to sign up for an Amazon Marketplace Web Service account.

Copy your Access Key ID and your Secret Access Key (click the Show link to display your Secret Access Key) from Amazon Seller Central and paste them in the corresponding fields on Bonanza.

Now you're done! When buyers checkout, they'll now be given the option to pay with Checkout by Amazon. Amazon will email you when you receive a payment through them, and you can view additional details of your payments in Amazon Seller Central.

Q: Do I need to enter a callback url in Amazon Seller Central?

A: No. Bonanza sends all necessary information to Amazon during checkout, you do not need to set any “Checkout Pipeline Settings” in Seller Central. Any settings you have there will not be used for Bonanza transactions.
