  The Braingels Fundraising Project was founded by a brain tumor survivor. As part of her rehabilitation from surgery, she was challenged to find ways to recover fine motor movement of her right hand which she had lost. She began beading and making jewelry and this project is the end result. Proceeds from sale of items on this site have always been to benefit organizations dedicated to the support, education and treatment of brain tumor patients and their families. To date, almost $5,000 has been raised.
