  Working on this booth with my son

  Marine Science Technician and mom of incredible boy. Was going to say little boy, but in last year he grew 6 inches and is now taller than I am.

  We live in North Carolina and I do research at the Center for Marine Sciences and Technology (CMAST. Been here for 5 years, before that we lived in Raleigh, NC and I did my research at NCSU.

  From booth:

  When I started working on a Booth for the teddy bears our family inherited, I thought I would also start to shed some of the things that I tend to hoard. However, there are so many items that we have accumulated over the years, I figured I better set up a separate booth.

  This booth is set up to help me keep the two basic groups separate.

  CindyBear's Den will deal with the Estate items
  and ccmom's It's Your Turn is for old, new, never used and stored items looking for another home.

  OK I admit it, I can be impulsive, I do not 'get rid' of things easily and I am always buying something that I think would be a great present for someone, or something I think I might use. More times than not, the items get shelved or closeted and forgotten. It is time to pass these things on to someone who will use them.

  There are many things that were never used, never opened, duplicate items, and presents that were given with love, but just were not things that we necessarily needed or wanted.

  Right now, it's mostly books, DVD but as we move from spare room to closets to storage more things will be added.

  Looking for that rare first edition, you probably won't find it here. Our books were bought to be read, many were, some weren't. There is no official grading used, and only books that are still readable and in decent to excellent condition will be listed. Now we may come across that rare first edition, but that is by coincidence, and not by design.

  The back of one of the closets does have those things purchased as collectibles and one day some will show up here. But for now, if you are a Sci-Fi fan or have some children who like to read, well this is where you will find a book or two to pass the time!
