About me
I was born in Northern Ireland and that is reflected in some of my choices of things to sell. I have a strong interest in animals so don't be surprised if you see a few animal prints in my booth. I like reading and traveling whenever there is an opportunity. I am writing a suspense novel about animals and will sell that in my booth when it is completed. I plan to start selling books because I love to read and write. I think books are one of the most important things in life. I was interested to learn that research showed that when students were split into two groups and both were asked to read a story one group in a book the other group on a computer. Then both groups were tested for retention. The group that read from the book had a 30% better retention than the group that read the story on the computer. That is a very significant difference. I think we should still be encouraging everyone to read books. What better thing is there to do on a cold and stormy day?
