    About Us

    The Forget Me Not Animal Shelter is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare agency in Ferry County, Washington – an area the size of Delaware, with an extremely high poverty and unemployment rate.
    Our mission is to house and find suitable homes for abused, abandoned, neglected, homeless and unwanted domestic animals; to provide educational materials for the care and housing of animals in domestic situations; to humanely end the suffering of unadoptable animals; and to strive toward an end of unwanted litters through a vigorous community spay and neuter program.

A great cause. I hate seeing a homeless and uncared for animal. So . . . I had a sign posted over my driveway (only animals can see it) that says “Welcome. Foods good and plentiful!” I currently have 15 stray cats (one is expecting and really wild). All have been fixed out of my own pocket except for the pregnant one that I cannot catch. Keep up the good work.
