About me
I have been dealing in collectibles since 1997 unless you count all the stuff I collected as a kid! I actually bought a glass salt & pepper on a tray for a dime when I was 10. I sold them in my shop for $6.00 40 years later!
I opened my own Brick & Mortar Antique Shop in December of 2002 and have grown from a 700 sq. ft. starter space to almost 5000 sq ft with 13 dealers and over 60 consignors. After 2 moves (it is not fun moving 3-6,000 sq ft of fragile items) I finally purchased my own building in December of 2012.
I collect Flower Frogs, have since 1997, thus the handle FroggieB Treasures. I also collect frogs of all sort, particularly the vintage ones. I have several salt & peppers, planters & figurines, decorations, and prints. I have over 100 different frog brooches and scatter pins and prefer the vintage ones but can't resist the bling of some of the new Swarovski ones.
Because of my collections my passion leans towards glass, pottery, and jewelry but I just love buying anything that I think I can sell! In my booth I will try to list the best of what I have in my mall including many pieces from my dealers and consignors.
If you ever find yourself in South Dakota be sure to drop in and see my mall. Just take I-90 exit 263, head north on Main St about 10 blocks and you'll see me on the left hand side of the street.
