    Ive spent 32 years in the military, now I am sort of semi retired in that I have no responsibility or stress and, except for my wife, no one has wanted to kill me for months.

    I have been a big collector, Cigarette cards, Militaria, sports memorabilia, especially boxing.
    In Fact anything and everything including manly stuff like teapots.

    It was great when we lived in a Huge house, with a Huge (joke) salary for taking huge risks going to places I didnt want to go (our Army is only a tenth the size of yours but the same number of people want to fight us!!)

    Anyway I would come home from God knows where and find that her indoors had moved another part of my collection into the garage, in an effort to reclaim her dining room.

    I would try to move it back under cover of darkness only to be ambushed and have to beat a hasty retreat (I may be 6-1 and 210 pounds but wives are scary)

    Now though we have gone tree hugging, out to the beautiful Lancashire countryside, overlooking the river Wyre and the Trough of Bowland, with the Lake District and the Dales only a short Drive away.
    But the house is tiny.
    I keep dragging stuff in, like a 1930s firemans helmet, and saying "Look dear wouldnt this look nice here?"
    Only to get a look that could sour milk.
    Sadly everything must go.
    Been selling/buying on E##Y for about 3 years, now looking for a new home, Where my stuff can be admired and appreciated.
