  I'm a mother of 2, grandmother of 5; I've been sewing since I could reach the pedal on a machine, 40+ years. I love creating beautiful things with fabric & thread. My grandchildren own more little purses than the local chain stores!

  I've rescued animals since I was a small girl. It seems that God just puts them there for me at the perfect time. I now have two lovely little girl Chihuahuas who landed in my lap as puppies in 2007. (They had been "dumped" like trash.) At the time, I had two elderly Chi's (15 & 12). I reckon God knew that I'd be needing company pretty soon & He was correct, as always.

  I have a special needs dog who needs 24/7 care, so I spend my days taking care of my dogs, my husband & my home. If there are any hours leftover, I pick out a fabric & make something. Never know what it's gonna be until I'm done, but that's just how I work.
