  Born in 1949 in California. My realistic landscape oil paintings are of the California Sierria Nevadas, Nevada desert to the Rocky Mountains, Lake Tahoe, Mammoth Lakes to the high desert, the Pacific Ocean beaches, the National Parks like Arches National Park, Yellowstone , Yosemite to name a few. I acquired an appreciation for nature long before I began to paint and have been selling fine art for 27 years. I had a gallery in Bishop, California for 10 yrs. My gallery is now by my home near Dyer, Nevada. I am a self-representing artist with a love for the great outdoors and am self-taught with the help of mother nature. I've shown in numerous juried fine art showsand acquired a love for nature long before taking brush to canvas. I live to hike and I love to paint and am happiest outside somewhere, any where.
