• About me

  I am proud to be a very unique person who believes there people who live and people who are alive. I like to think I am very much alive and will try most anything once, twice if I like it. I have a BFA is graphic design and teach at a charter high school in southern Florida. I love my students and they actually love me. I love sharing the excitement when someone GETS IT! Nothing is more rewarding then when my students GET IT and can express it to me. By the end of summer I will have 8 grandchildren and I love each for who they are and I am sharing my love and skills with them.

  I have designed 10 weddings, one was sent across country in boxes with instructions on set up. My weddings are unique in that I like to say I do them on a dime and they look like a million dollars. I bead jewelry, do custom work with silk flowers, have just completed (February 2011) my 17th quilt having just learned this skill in October 2010. I mingle in Chinese Brush Art, water colors, and drawing computerized (Adobe Suite) and free-hand. I have explored custom designed stain glass, created unique bird houses, water falls, ponds and gardens (guess that would be landscaping). I design and sell illuminated towel cakes for wedding showers, house warmings, and general gifts, and diaper cakes and diaper boats for the little ones to come or who have arrived (you never can have enough diapers!) I make soaps and lotions, and I have even created some awesome Easter baskets. My newest venue is purses which I design with key catchers, cell phone pockets and my signature beading. Using products we produced, friends and I have participated in several Christmas fairs, be sure to watch for merchandise during the holidays.

  In my free time I sing with the Church Choir, and act as female sponsor for weekend field trips and camping with the school, and act as school photographer. I don't sleep well, or much, which I guess is a good thing to give me time to do all I want to do.
