Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

Thanks so much for taking a peek into Grandma Ginger’s Closet. Grandma Ginger’s a real sweetie and is always happy for you to look around. She loves old things but just can’t seem to stop collecting them! So, the closet is full and she would love to share her treasures with someone who will love them as much as she does. Maybe that person is you!

Customer satisfaction is Grandma Ginger’s top priority (I told you she was a sweetie) and we aren’t happy unless you are. Please look closely at all descriptions and if you aren’t sure about something, ask before you leap!

Shipping policy

Items are shipped every Tuesday via Fed Ex Ground because they include up to $100 insurance and tracking numbers in their price. Generally it is cheaper than USPS any way. They generally deliver in 3-4 business days. Books are sent via USPS via media rate. At times, flat mailings such as envelopes and mailers are quite a bit cheaper via USPS. If that is the case, I will use them to save you the most money.

Shipping quotes reflect that I will use Fed Ex and are my best estimate based on the weight and size of the package. Should you like me to get shipping rates for your zip code and have an exact quote, convo me BEFORE you purchase with your zip code and I will get the exact shipping cost and adjust the shipping accordingly. Otherwise, I assume that you are cool with my estimate and we will go with that.

Should you need your items quicker than 3-4 days, please drop me a convo before you purchase so that we can work out the details. I’m flexible like that!

I get no seller protection if your address is unconfirmed with Pay Pal so please check to make sure you have a confirmed address. Otherwise, it slows down delivery while we convo back and forth about confirming your address. And I know you want your treasure as quickly as possible!

To remain green, I use reclaimed packing materials whenever possible so shipping costs stay low and mounds of supplies stay out of the waste stream.

Return policy

This is where it can get sticky, isn’t it? Here’s what I think. Sometimes things get broken during delivery. I hate that and so do you. That’s why I go with Fed Ex to cover any breakage or loss. If the item is more than $100, you will be charged for insurance so we can avoid any unhappy feelings. I promise I will wrap it up all nice and snug, but I have no control over what some unthinking delivery person who doesn’t care what fragile means does with your package. Insurance protects us both. So since everything is covered with insurance, no refunds or returns are allowed.

Miscellaneous details

Please note that as a vintage item, this piece may not be in perfect condition (which is the charm of vintage). I describe items as well as I can, but I am not an expert, just a junk junkie! Therefore, all items are sold in as-is condition. Look pics over carefully and shoot me a convo with any questions before purchasing to avoid any misunderstandings.
I aim to please and want you to love your purchase as much as I do. BTW, my home is smoke-free.
