Non members can't contact sellers?

I received a message from Bonanza this morning telling me there was a question about an item I have listed. I clicked on the message and it said that the person who sent the message was not a Bonanza member so the “body of the message has been deleted”. So~~does that mean that anyone who is not a Bonanza member can’t contact sellers here and MAYBE can’t purchase either? It’s no wonder sales are so slow if Bonanza doesn’t allow contact between sellers & non members. If someone has a question about an item they have to be a Bonanza member to ask a question?? If so, it sure narrows down the playing field of buyers on Bonanza.

do not know what happened to the message, but it is mostly non members that make purchases here or send messages for that matter..

Check your messages here to see if it is available or contact support…

whenever you see the user ID Bonzuser_ID pretty much means that the person is not a member and if they are, they just never bothered to change the generic ID given to them

The message said “the person who sent the message is not a Bonanza member so the body of the message has been deleted”. It also said that if the message came from a member who is a seller I have dealt with I can contact them through the transaction.

Another reason to change sites. I am shrinking my closet here a little bit everyday, and putting my items on another site that I am making crazy good sales on……..WITHOUT having to do any self advertising.

Sales here are close to 0. I’ve LUCKILY sold 2 here and 31 on ebay so far in Dec..

I haven’t made a sale here in over a year. I’m making all my sales on Mercari. I’m averaging 7 to 10 sales a week there ad that’s where I’m moving my listings to.

I’ve been selling on ebay for the last 20 years and no site can compare to ebay as far as I’m concerned. I gave Bonanza a try but it’s clear that ebay is where the buyers are.

KarensCollections says: December 22, 2019

For me, it’s Mercari. There is no fee for listing, and only a 10% seller fee when an item is sold. I like to buy from eBay, but never had a lot of luck selling there. :)

KarensCollections, can you use Paypal to receive payment or is it still just for buying? I have a problems giving foreign based apps access to my checking account.

KarensCollections says: December 23, 2019

The buyer can use several different payment options. Once they receive the item, they have three days to rate it or ask for a refund. After they rate it, or after three days if they don’t Mercari releases your money and you can use direct deposit to get it. I’ve been there for close to a year and

KarensCollections says: December 23, 2019

have never had an issue. I had one buyer request a refund, Mercari refunded them their money and still released my money to me as well.

KarensCollections says: December 23, 2019

it may be a foreign app, but all my sales are within the US. I do not ship internationally.

abigdogmom says: December 25, 2019

I just could never understand why they couldn’t deposit the seller’s money into a PayPal account if a buyer can pay with PayPal.

KarensCollections says: December 26, 2019

I kind of like they way they do it. If the buyer isn’t happy and wants a refund, it doesn’t fall on me to do it. I’m also on Poshmark and they do the three day hold as well. I also like that they email you a shipping label when you make a sell. Just print it and ship it. :)
