I believe that the only way another user name could show up on your login page is if somebody used that computer to try and log into Bonanza. Whether successful or not, the browser’s cache settings stored that user name and automatically filled it in when you went back to Bonanza.

So, how might this have happened? Here are two [URL removed]

1) You are using a public computer (library, work, etc.) and somebody proceeded your login attempt.
2) Someone in your household may have a Bonanza account or tried to set one up. Do you know anyone named Keith?

Thats an excellent observation tom. Most likely you hit the nail on the head and the poster is too embarresed to come back to answer that you are correct. All we hear is crickets from them now.

Thank you,
Is there a way to find out if KeithM816 is an actual user?

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
