We are almost to
Carolyn suggested and think you’ll agree there are plenty letters in this phrase. Very early start.
We have grown to expect it. :)

The world is my country; all mankind are my brethren and to do good is my religion. Thomas Paine – Rights of Man
A7, B1, C1, D5, E6, F1, G3,H4,I7, K1,L4,M6 N8,O9 P1 R7,S4 T6,U1 W1,Y4

New players welcome in fact, encouraged.
Hope to add names to the player list.

Oh My God I Love “Common Sense” as well as ‘’Rights of Man’’ by Thomas Paine, and so I Love the Phrase! Thanks Carolyn DearieGal for Your Suggestion!!! Even us non-players can get excited for a specific phrase!

This Week’s Phrase Is:
The world is my country; all mankind are my brethren and to do good is my religion. Thomas Paine – Rights of Man
A7, B1, C1, D5, E6, F1, G3, 4, I7, 1, 4, M6, N8,
O9, P1, R7, S4, T6, U1, W1, Y4

’’’’’World Funnies – Below:’’’’’

and remember. . . .

By The Way. . .
Joyce if you ever need me to ’’tweak’’ your banner (take away words, and add other ones, take hearts off and replace with something else liked a flowered frame) – let me know. I no longer add people’s booth name to banners, or avatars to most of Bonz Sellers, but I always do so for peeps (that I know and care about) who ask me to do so maybe that might sound mean of me, but oh well, I learned a long time ago you cannot please all of the people all of the time! LOLOL!

My, oh my Thanks to Carolyn the phrase letter count is now correct.

The world is my country; all mankind are my brethren and to do good is my religion. Thomas Paine – Rights of Man
A7, B1, C1, D5, E6, F1, G3,H4,I7, K1,L4,M6 N8,O9 P1 R7,S4 T6,U1 W1,Y4

Dee, Glad you like the phrase.
It is thought provoking.
Me,too. Appreciate Thomas Paine and his writings.

Sold my hutch and buffet last evening.
Gal coming today at 11:00 to check out more stuff. she sounds like a serious buyer
So far, so good.

Snow in northwest IN has reached 15"
59 year old brother tells the story he was shoveling every couple hours to keep the sidewalk clear and the path into the driveway available. He stopped to catch his breath and saw the town snow removal trucks coming up the road. Yes, you guessed it. As they plowed snow blew 20’ into the air and landed exactly where he just finished shoveling. Now there was another 12" of snow blocking the driveway. So efficient removing snow frequently and in 30 seconds it was all to do over again and even deeper than when he started. Thankless job!

The year my husband was on sabbatical in Syracuse, I stayed here with the 2 kids who were in early grades.

We didn’t have even a driveway back then, so I had to park on the street.

Really really really big snowstorm.

I spend days hacking out a parking spot directly in front of my house; just finished shoveling it by hand – we didn’t have a snowblower.

Went to get my car, which was parked a block away, game back – and some guy had taken my spot.

Boy, was I mad. What could I do? It was a public road, so I had no recourse.

When he went somewhere, I put my car into the spot I had so painfully and exhaustingly carved out – and I did not move my car until the snow melted away.

Guy lived right across the street, and had a long driveway, which apparently, he couldn’t be bothered to shovel…….

Next year, we had a driveway……..

Memories of snow….I went to live in CA just weeks before the snow of 69 hit Chicagoland.
I was in Hawaii when the freezing blizzard of New Year 1981 hit.
Then there were the many other years that I was there when the snow hit, drifted and froze making it nearly impossible to shovel. We had no snowblower but I sure learned how to use a shovel to help my dad.
My brother still is living where we grew up.
He still has no snow blower and he really felt muscles he’d almost forgotten he had managing yesterdays
‘s snow.
BTW, that was really a thoughtless neighbor.
Wondered if he’d watched you shoveling and waited for just the right moment to snag your parking spot.

On the other hand. . .there are still neighbors who help other neighbors during the Winter snowfall season. . .and I am proud as punch to state, that my hubby, snowplows or shovels our neighbor’s double driveway – she’s an elderly single gal, who’s about 3 years older than hubby and I – & he does so whenever he shovels or gas powered snowplows our driveway, and he doesn’t ever ask for anything in return but Judy is also a kind neighbor, and she gets him one of those gift cards at Christmastime. . .

We must Be The Good in the World if we want the world to change. . .
ONE of my most Favorite Definition of Love includes: “Love does not take an account of wrongs, but Rejoices in what is Right and Good!” I, myself still have to remind me to practice at this. . .I’m sure everyone has degrees of such!

I like this sign – below, if anyone sees it on sale, let me know, for the FIRST time while in this Forum I actually found something I would like to buy and put on a wall . . .

Well, a busy day doing laundry.
Nasty, gray, chilling day.
Hoping for some sunshine tomorrow.
I just realized that in 12 days I’ll be in AZ for my namesake’s wedding. Nice break away from building a house. lol

Better go exercise a little. My brain seems tired.

(Oh, besides laundry I came in contact with some of the most unusual people at the kokomo garage sale website. How can I know what they want when THEY don’t even know what they want. Strange folks out there. Just sayin’

Here’s a word for you: mnemonic.

I dredged it up from my subconscious – hadn’t thought of it for maybe 40 or 50 years, and don’t ever recall using it, either, although I have come across it. Must have left a lasting impression!

If you’ll look up the dictionary definition of the word, you’ll see why it’s so funny to me! Really apt, don’t you think?

Carolyn…unusual word starting “mn”
I can relate to that looked it up
I use all kinds of things to help me remeber things.
For example: To remember my old address. 5270 Deer Creek Dr. Bob’s borth year and graduation year.
My home phone is combination numbers of my birth month, date year
Tricks to remember seem to help me esp with numbers.

Where is everybody?

Does anyone remember this episode?
I think I saw it New Years Eve sometime in the past few years

I keep changing my banner/booth header, I get bored easily with seeing the same one all the time. . .; ; ; giggling, here; ; ;. . .

Joyce you said “I do” – you know where I can buy this sign? LOL! Well, I already asked hubby to make one for me, maybe I’ll have it in a year…HaHaHa!!!

Anyway. . .been watching Ice Skating Winter Olympics, it’s the only competition I like to watch. . .I missed a lot of it, but what I did see I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m sure I might be able to see what I missed, online, streaming somewhere, but it’s not that important to me.
Carolyn, my sister Caroline, was a constant thinker. . .not just of words, but also of things to create mostly for her classroom/kids in class – about or for them. . .
God rest her Soul. . .over-thinking actually became such a distraction, she ended up hoarding just wayyyy too much stuff. After her little rental flooded, she had a cleaned home once again, and she ended up in a facility that had separate or shared apartments, the assisted living kind where-by you don’t have to cook and you don’t have to go out to have a doctor come see you…she hated it but lived less than a couple of years after being placed in it by her adult son/daugher. Life is not always fair.
Well I looked up the word, but I’ll not say what it means, here. . .winking! ;)

Hello everyone…::::sigh::::….once again a senseless, tragically sad school shooting, & NOTHING will progress from this because our governing men & women don’t care enough to begin to find and incorporate into laws at least PART of the solutions…for example it ought to be a law that you cannot buy an assault rifle anymore…or maybe we need a law that allows police or FBI search and seize a weapon from ANYONE who makes threats as this shooter did online…yet NOTHING will come from another horrible assault against innocent teens and staff…
I think grandparents or people 60 and over should volunteer to be watchdogs at every entrance to every school…in their neighborhood whether they have grandkids in that school or not … or ask communities to have fundraisers so that schools can have metal/ gun detectors…Some things can be done, it is going to take us to do so because our elected officials have sat on their prideful unmoving do nothing ’’hands’’ long enough…enough talk we need actions!!! God help us! I am sad and angry…and keeping many in my prayers but prayers are not enough…

Dee, I’m with you. Something needs to be done and seems the people need to do it as you said from a community, city, state-wide point of view. not so sure retirees and grandparents could play the watchdog roll well enough were there to be a gunman enter the school What is the answer?

Another afternoon in West Lafayette yesterday and we made more decisions and found more decisions need made. This isn’t easy but few things are. When it is built and we are in it THEN it will be easy.

Since I will not be here for a week of WFC brain exercise I am offering this phrase as suggested by Carolyn and so appropriate.
Exercise your brain and even set a personal challenge. It is good for you mind. Don’t send it to me as I won’t be doing stats and random winner selection. In fact I won’t be available to start the next game at all. Come here to visit, post AND exercise if you like. However WFC is on a 2 week vacation formally speaking
