The maker is Royal China USA, Cavalier Ironstone, pattern is Nugmeg, discontinued 1950's.

The pattern is of dark brown flowers with olive colored leaves.  The pattern is truly awesome.  This plate is a bread, salad, side dish plate.  There is no scratches, cracks, chips, flea bites, grazing or marring to the surface.  This is one of my best pieces...with no issues.  It feels like ironstone because the weight and thickness is there.  The plate measures 6 3/8 inches in diameter.
