This is a wonderful pre owned needlepoint craft of based on the artwork of Irish artist Mildred Anne Butler that is in very good condition. The coloured threads are likely wool and appear to be clean, vibrant and intact. This piece is based on her painting titled Young Girl at the Garden Gate. It shows a girl dressed in a hat and pinafore dress with tall lilies in bloom at her side. One also gets a peek into an enchanting garden behind her and part of the cottage house. The wood frame measures approximately 15 3/4" X 16" X 1" D. There are some scratches on frame and it has a wire on the back so that it is ready to hang.
