This is a vintage pinback button for WWII SEABEES. The SEABEES are the Construction Battallion (CBs) of the United States Navy.Teh SEABEES were officially organized int he Naval Reserve on December 31, 1947.

 They have a history of building bases, bulldozing and paving thousands of miles of roadway and airstrips and accomplishing myriad other construction projects in a wide variety of military theaters dating back to WWII.

Pin is one of the early pins made and it shows signs of age, still enclosed in plastic in front. Some discoloration at back. Button measures 2-1/4" in diameter. Send email for more details.
