Reen gold bupleurum is an interesting color form. Grows quickly and easily. Great for the cutting garden. For cut flowers is an excellent filler in bouquets. Adapts well in many environments. Likes sandy or loam soil. Blooms mid-summer through mid fall. Will grow to 24 inches tall. Likes full sun or part shade. Is considered an annual in zones that have frost. Perennial in frost free zones. Germination can be erratic (14-60 days), but it i worth sowing as they contrast so well with other flowers. Can be started indoors in winter to be put into the ground in spring. Or can be sown directly into the ground in spring and summer.
