This sale is for an Elvis Presley / Hilton Group rare 3:00 AM Concert reproduction stand-up display measuring approx 8 1/4 x 10 1/4. The King of Rock and Roll earned his title with his unbelievable recording success in the '50s, immersed himself in movie-making in the '60s with a couple dozen films, then forged a third career as King of Las Vegas during the 1970s. During that latter phase he maintained an incessant schedule of concert dates, with Vegas as his home base, often performing two shows a day. This display chronicles perhaps the only instance when Elvis performed three shows in one afternoon / evening, and the only one he performed at 3:00 AM. That he was immensely popular right up to the date of his passing is unquestionable, and here's the proof! It happened in early September 1973 in the midst of his regular fall engagement at the Hilton in Las Vegas.
