Pretty white flowers, tinged with blue and purple as they age, grace the silky silvery green leaves of this gorgeous late summer bloomer. Deer resistant perennial, easy to grow from seed. Foliage is silky with fine hairs, flowers are 1 - 1/4 inches across. This prolifice bloomer shows it flowers at a time when other plants and flowers are going to seed. Blooms late summer thru october, or first hard frost. Easy to grow and require minimal care. Keep them watered with an inch of water each week. Loves full sun or partial shade, thrives in poor or rocky soils. Can be started indoors in winter to be transplanted outdoors in spring. Or can be sown directly into the ground in spring, summer or fall. Faithful perennial that will come back year after year.
