Mid Century Modernist Richard Saar of Saar Ceramic pottery studio was in production between 1949 - 1962 in California. Most of the output by Saar Ceramics consisted of hand painted, production are from molds, cast from handmade originals.
Truly a collectible and hard to find signed footed bowl by an accredited Mid Century California Ceramist.
Richard Saar's work was celebrated at the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, California, in 2018.
