An
excerpt:
"Butterflies are being used in every conceivable way, and are
made of everything that can be twisted into a butterfly
form.
The
crocheted ones are about as pretty and useful as any. They are effective, not
difficult to make, and launder beautifully. The work must be done evenly,
however, and kept clean."
"As
there seems to be quite as strong a demand as ever for Irish Crochet neck
accessories, and one cannot have too many, we are showing a number of original
designs, which any one who crochets can easily learn to make for herself. These
Irish Crochet tabs ought also to furnish a practical suggestion to the woman who
wishes to earn money with her needle, as thee is a steady demand for them and
they sell...and the attractive feature about them is that they are unlike the
ordinary designs to be found in the shops."
Not your
typical crochet motif for a necktie but sure to be admired,
coveted and questioned after by many.
