Offered is a wonderful old train conductor photo and newsclipping. Photo is 8"x10" black and white in good condition, circa 1950, back blank. The newspaper clipping indicates it is the retirement photo of Henry W Funk, whom started with the Bath & Hammondsport Railiroad in 1899. He started with the Lackawanna Railroad in 1902 as a trainman and in 1915 was promoted to conductor. He worked in passenger service from 1925-1945 and 1945 until retirement after 51 years, in the freight service. Newspaper clipping yelloed and laminated for protection. A nice find.
