A pair of Cardinals perches in a snowy tree on this hand-painted wood slice. Pictured are paintings number four and eight based on two of my photos. Wood slice magnets have one or two--depending on wood size--0.75 inch magnets set into the back for an appropriate hold strength, and ornaments have a drilled hole with a jute hanging cord. Birds are painted from the same reference photos (my own photos), but each is unique. In this, you may recognize the female cardinal from the "Lady Bird" card.

Magnets and ornaments are art, not toys. Magnets and loose bark may present a choking hazard, and acrylic paint is not to go in the mouth. Keep magnets and ornaments clean and dry, and display out of direct sunlight to prevent color changes.

The sample image was painted on oak wood, but pieces shipped out of Missouri will be on Black Walnut or another species that is allowed to be shipped to your state. The wood is heat-treated in my oven for safety, but not certified.
