The Thai Dragon pepper, also know as the Thai Volcano, grows 3 to 4 inches long and starts out green, maturing to a brilliant red. They are produced on a short, bushy plant in clusters of 5 or 6.
Because of the plant's decorative appeal, they are often grown along garden borders The variety is incredibly prolific - producing up to 200 peppers on a single bush. And very hot ! ~ 100,000 Scoville. Each packet contains 40+ seeds. The peppers take about 85 days to begin turning red from the date of transplanting.
