This 4” Hummel figurine is in MINT condition.  It bears TMK #3 having been produced Circa 1959 -1970. It has no chips, crazing, repairs or marks.

The darling ‘Apple Tree Boy’ Hummel figurine is one of the rarer and iconic Hummels to find today. The young boy wears a blue jacket and is perched on the bow of a tree producing apples in the fall. This counterpart to the figurine “Apple Tree Girl” was modeled in 1940 by Arthur Moeller. It has also been redesigned several times over the years. It has been listed as both “Fall” and “Autumn”.

Sister Hummel had a love of children and sketched them in various situations.  This charming, kindred little boy sits quietly for a rest upon the orchard apple tree in the fall. He is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine and one of the more popular Hummel pieces.

There is such beautiful detail in the hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.

A wonderful gift for someone special.
