DESCRIPTION

seaside*collectibles is pleased to bring you this 75+ year old English bone china teacup & saucer. The china of the teacup & saucer have an amazing Arts & Crafrs inspired design. The shape has lovely Art Deco lines it flutes up, but as you can see, has a delicate structure.

The teacup has a china white body with intricately hand painted gold tendrils and flourishes over a bed of cobalt blue. There is a bouquet of flowers at every turn of the teacup as well as the saucer. There is a chandelier type design in a deep rust red accenting the floral bouquets. Inside of the teacup is the same floral chandeliers design around the rim and it sits on a background of pure bone china white. A great touch!

The sweeping lightning bolt handle compliments the fanciful design of the teacup & saucer.

The saucer, with its softly scalloped edges has the same very detailed floral design all around the dish. The teacup's handle the rim of the teacup & saucer are all hand painted in gold leaf detailing. The well blended pattern of the saucer matches the Arts & Crafts lines of the teacup perfectly. This whimsically design teacup & saucer is truly a celebration!

COLORS: The teacup is in a bone china ivory with a handpainted heavy goldleaf detailing. The principal colors are deep rust red, colbalt blue, pink rose and green.

SIZE: The teacup's mouth has a diameter of about 3 1/4.a € The saucer is about 5 1/4" in diameter.

CONDITION: Excellent Antique Vintage Condition. No loss of detail (rubbing), no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs - detailing is bright. Set needs some cleaning.
